Failing quickly and failing often in our early years, allowed us to develop organic excellence as we matured
Introduction & History
Having established in 2011, the founder pivoted the business in 2013 having recognised an opportunity to offer medical malpractice insurance to doctors who had their membership (and thus their indemnity) withdrawn from medical unions as a result of a complaint/claim against them. Servca received direct FCA (then FSA) authorisation in 2013 and then became a Lloyd’s Broker in 2015. During our early years, we’ve been part of Bluefin Network and Broker Network – both of which were positive experiences, but we were still missing the access to specialty markets and our ability to create our own programmes and schemes.
As a wholesale-only Lloyd’s Broker, we worked Having worked with countless broker-clients who were AR’s or part of costly networks. We understood their frustrations, having walked through a similar path – which is why in 2019, we launched UK Brokerlink. A dedicated, no nonsense regulatory platform to support regional and international brokers setting up a London presence, complete with access to markets and keeping 100% of their hard-earned brokerage.

The Present Time
In 2024, Servca was restructured as a wholly owned subsidiary of what is today, Superian Insurance Group – a global integrated insurance intermediary group which has evolved, by adapting to market conditions and diversifying revenue streams by actively solving the challenges of our clients and partners.
The group’s strategy has been to focus and invest in areas of business which have historically been underserved, namely independent broker-networks that supports and empowers business owners with pragmatic solutions. This strategy was organically produced from ground up – hence enabled us to challenge the norm to focus on an outcomes-based network of choice. Presently, the group hosts a range of AR’s, such as UK commercial insurance brokers, to reinsurance brokerage to US wholesaler brokers looking to create a London presence.
